WHAT ARE HCG DIETS?
HCG diets involve hCG injections and severe calorie restrictions under the supervision of a medical professional.
HCG stimulates your hypothalamus to mobilize fat out from fat storage locations and make it available as energy. HCG injections cause abnormal fat deposits to be released, allowing your body to burn those reserves. So, even if you only consume 1000 calories, your hypothalamus is constantly releasing fat from your body. That means your body is burning thousands of calories from stored fat each day.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT WILL I LOSE?
The hCG treatment protocol is typically continued for 26 days by patients who have to lose 15 pounds or less. If you need to lose more than 15 pounds, the treatment would then take 40 days. If you need to lose more than 40 pounds, you must wait 6 weeks before starting another course of hCG.
During your first visit, we will explain the course, discuss your weight loss goals, and assess your current health to ensure that you are a good fit for the program. Many of our patients have medical issues, which also are carefully screened through a thorough history and physical, blood work, and EKG to ensure that the treatment is appropriate and safe.
IS IT HEALTHY TO LOSE WEIGHT WITH HCG SHOTS?
HCG weight loss studies have revealed that the weight lost during treatment is primarily adipose fat tissue rather than lean muscle. So, the weight you lose is directly from fat rather than muscle, vitamins, or minerals that are necessary for good health. Also, since you get to release excess amounts of fat-stored nutrients into the bloodstream for absorption by the body, you’ll likely feel good and energized during the treatment.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE HCG DIET?
The HCG Diet is suitable for the majority of men and women who desire to lose weight. As with any diet, it is recommended that patients consult a physician about their current health condition, and discuss the proper implementation of the HCG.
CAN I REPEAT THE TREATMENT IF I GAIN BACK THE WEIGHT?
Yes. If you lose a significant amount of weight and then gain it back a year later, repeat the protocol as often as required. Many people choose to follow the protocol once a year for three weeks in order to lose any weight that has been gained and to stay on top of it.
