WHAT IS IPL SPOT TREATMENT?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) spot treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses light energy to target and reduce the appearance of skin discoloration such as age spots, sun damage, freckles, and birthmarks.
HOW DOES IPL SPOT TREATMENT WORK?

IS IPL SPOT TREATMENT SAFE?

The number of IPL spot treatment sessions required will vary depending on the severity of the skin discoloration and the individual's skin type. Generally, 3-5 sessions are recommended for optimal results, with each session scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AN IPL SPOT TREATMENT SESSION?
During an IPL spot treatment session, you will be given protective eyewear to wear while the light energy is directed onto the targeted area of the skin. You may experience a mild stinging sensation, similar to the snapping of a rubber band, as the light pulses are delivered. Treatment sessions typically last between 30-60 minutes.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER IPL SPOT TREATMENT?
There is little to no downtime after IPL spot treatment. You may experience some redness and swelling in the treated area, but this usually resolves within a few hours to a day. You can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment, but it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and to wear sunscreen for a few weeks following treatment.
CAN IPL SPOT TREATMENT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER COSMETIC TREATMENTS?
IPL spot treatment can be combined with other cosmetic treatments such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion to enhance results. However, it is important to discuss any potential combination treatments with your medical professional to ensure safety and efficacy.
