HOW DOES SCULPTRA FACELIFT WORK?

Collagen is the protein that keeps our skin tight, healthy, and plump, providing it a youthful appearance. Sculptra Facelift injections trigger collagen production and regeneration in your skin. The effects of the treatment can continue up to two years after the initial course of injections. Additional injections are required as you approach the two-year mark to prevent relapsing to your previous appearance. Other hyaluronic fillers are often only effective for a few months, not years.

IS SCULPTRA EFFECTIVE AS A FACELIFT PROCEDURE?

You'll notice an improvement in the targeted areas almost immediately after injection. However, these initial results may fade away within a few days. Because the Sculptra solutions injected that caused the plumped effect will get absorbed by your skin. Your skin begins to generate collagen as it absorbs the solution. And this is the process that will sustain true results. But this takes a few weeks, which is why you won't notice the full effects of your treatment for another month or two. The wait is worth it and the revitalizing impacts we've seen in our patients are remarkable.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE LIKE?

The Sculptra treatment will only take 15 to 30 minutes, and you will be able to resume your normal daily activities straightaway. Your doctor will start by defining the areas of your face that need to be addressed. He'll then mark the injection sites and estimate how much Sculptra you should get to achieve your desired results. The injection of the Sculptra filler is preceded by the application of a topical numbing lotion or a local anesthetic. Sculptra is injected into the dermis and subcutis layers, unlike other injectables. After that, patients are encouraged to massage the treated areas to ensure that the fillers are evenly distributed. For better results, we typically recommend follow up treatments six to ten weeks apart.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR SCULPTRA FACELIFT?

Sculptra is a wrinkle-smoothing and volume-replacement treatment that is suitable for both men and women who want to restore their youthful appearance. It can also help in achieving the same results as a surgical eyelid lift without the need for surgery. Patients should be in good health, with no infection or inflammation in the targeted treatment areas.

HOW IS THE AFTERCARE?

To get the most out of your Sculptra treatment, you'll need to take proper care of yourself afterwards. Apply a cloth-wrapped cold pack to the injection sites for a few minutes each time for the first 24 hours following therapy to minimize swelling. Massage the areas for five minutes five times each day for five days after the procedure. Avoid tanning and direct sunlight until the swelling and redness have decreased substantially. And to better protect your skin, don’t forget to apply a high-protection sunscreen at all times.
