FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DOES THE O-SHOT TREATMENT WORKS?
Our doctors will quickly review your medical history during your O-shot treatment at StudioMD White Plains. If you have any questions, you will have the opportunity to ask them. A topical numbing cream is first applied to the injection site. After that, your blood is drawn and prepared. Your doctor will inject your PRP into two small areas of the vagina once it is ready. The entire procedure takes about 30 minutes, and you can resume your normal activities the same day.
WHEN WILL I NOTICE THE RESULTS?
Most women notice the difference almost immediately. Women of all ages report increased clitoris and G-spot sensitivity, resulting in stronger orgasms and multiple orgasms, even when they have never experienced them before. The full effects of treatment may not be seen for three to four weeks. There may be no noticeable effect in rare cases, but the O-Shot can be repeated after eight weeks for women who want to see better results or boost the satisfactory effects of their first shot.
IS THE O-SHOT USED TO TREAT INCONTINENCE?
Many women have reported significant reductions in stress and urge incontinence. In fact, numerous reports claim that the issue has even been completely solved. Using PRP to strengthen the pelvic floor musculature can have a significant impact on urinary incontinence. For the best results, most O-Shot providers advise using PRP in addition to pelvic floor muscle training exercises.
DOES RECEIVING THE O-SHOT HURT?
Because the treatment area is anesthetized, most patients have no discomfort or pain when receiving the O-Shot, though a small number of patients have reported a slight pinching or stinging sensation. Because the O-Shot treatment is minimally invasive, women can resume normal physical activity, including sexual activity, immediately after treatment.
IS THE PROCEDURE APPROVED BY THE FDA?
The FDA does not approve or disapprove PRP procedures because PRP is not a drug. However, the PRP harvesting kits used by StudioMD's procedures have been approved by the FDA and they have been rated as secure. Take comfort in knowing that PRP has always been shown to be safe and effective at regeneration, healing, and rejuvenation in many medical specialties.
