WHAT IS THE COMPOSITION OF DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers are essentially biodegradable gels made from components that are naturally present in human cells. As a result, they are very well tolerated when injected into our systems and do not demand allergy testing.

However, rest assured that recombinant gene technology is used to create dermal fillers in rigorous sterile settings.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
During the procedure, as the dermal filler is being injected, you might feel a tiny pinch and a pressurized or "stinging" sensation. Most patients find it very tolerable. DOES THE PROCEDURE REQUIRE ANY AFTERCARE?
Every injection procedure includes critical and highly specific aftercare instructions in order to provide the greatest results. Following your procedure, it is typically advised that you stay upright for four hours to allow the product to set. Refrain from using active skincare products for at least 5 days to prevent bruising. Avoid overheating your skin, including in saunas, spas, and steam rooms and wait 24 hours before exercising because the dermal filler is still setting up. During the first week do not press or massage your face, as doing so may cause the product to not settle properly.
DO DERMAL FILLERS HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Dermal fillers' most frequent side effects typically start to show up 24 hours after treatment. They may include swelling, bruising, redness, and discomfort and should go away in a few days. On rare occasions, depending on the type of Dermal Filler used, it could take a few weeks. A follow-up review appointment is highly advisable to check for any concerns.
