HOW DOES MORPHEUS8 WORK?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to fractionally remodel and contour the face and body. Morpheus8 technology combines radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling to target the deeper layers of your skin and stimulate collagen production in your dermis. In the underlying layers of skin, the radiofrequency can penetrate up to 4mm deep and melt away fat. This can trigger your body’s natural healing response, prompting the remodel of your skin through an organic anti-aging process.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE TREATMENT?

Around an hour before treatment your clinician will apply a topical anesthetic on your skin to help reduce any discomfort during the procedure. The Morpheus8 treatment is done through a system of stamping motion. So with each stamp, silicone coated pins will penetrate your skin at various depths to deliver deep radiofrequency heating. The whole session usually takes from 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area. Afterwards, other supplemental treatments may be applied to hasten recovery time and give an added boost to collagen production. At the end of the session, a hydrating moisturizer will be gently applied to help with skin healing.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM MORPHEUS8?

The results of your Morpheus8 treatment can take some time to show. Within a few days of treatment, you’ll be able to notice some improvement on the texture and tone of your skin. But it will only really appear tighter after approximately 3 weeks and the best results will be most apparent only around 3 months. Keep in mind that it also may require 2-3 treatments to achieve desired results.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO MORPHEUS8?

When the treatment is performed properly, there are rarely any side effects associated with Morpheus8. Its technology allows the practitioner to deliver waves of energy at various depths, preventing injuries to occur. Although rare, mild side effects can include post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks that take several weeks to clear, while major side effects can include physical scarring.
