WHAT IS FACIAL HYDRATHERAPY?

HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment designed to deliver long-term skin health in under 30min. The HydraFacial treatment involves removing dead skin cells and impurities extraction, but also bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. HOW DOES HYDRAFACIAL TECHNOLOGY WORKS?

Hydratherapy involves a multi-platformed device that allows a range of different skin application treatments depending on your needs. Its technology works through a special device, known as the Hydropeel™ tip, to deliver exfoliation, cleansing, extraction, and hydration to your face. The Hydropeel mechanism uses a vortex swirling action to deliver hydration and to remove dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while cleaning and soothing your skin.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED TO SEE RESULTS?

In general, you are likely to see immediate improvement in your skin after a single Hydrafacial treatment. But specific skin concerns, such as acne and uneven pigmentation, may require several treatments for full benefit. Regular sessions every four to six weeks, combined with an appropriate regime of medical grade skincare products, are also recommended to maintain results.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE LIKE?

Having a Hydrafacial is relatively painless. Some patients described it as having ‘a cool paintbrush moving over the face’. Any risk of scarring is exceedingly rare with this procedure. But you can expect to feel some slight tightness and redness of the skin afterwards, which may last for a couple of hours following treatment. In case the redness continues for more than a day, or if you experience sensitive skin around the eyes, or even swollen eyelids, cold compresses will help to get rid of these side effects.
