WHAT IS CHIN AUGMENTATION WITH DERMAL FILLERS?
A non-surgical chin augmentation involves injecting gel-base dermal fillers into precise areas of the chin. Each procedure technique is based on the patient’s need to achieve adequate length, width or projection of the chin.
Only a small amount of dermal filler is used in chin augmentations, to better control the shape and contours of the jawline during the procedure. Every dermal filler used by StudioMD is composed of biocompatible materials that stimulate natural collagen formation in the skin and allow us to perfectly achieve the chosen shape.

DO CHIN FILLER WORK ALSO FOR MEN?
Both men and women can benefit from a Chin Enhancement with dermal fillers. While men choose this non-surgical procedure when they want a more structured chin with a stronger jaw, women choose chin augmentation because it’s the best alternative to chin implants for correcting small or “weak” chins.
HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT LAST?
Results are very individual and dependent on factors such as the patient’s anatomy, metabolism, filler placement, dosage, product quality, etc. Typically, if the patient is happy with the results at the 1 month mark, there will be a touch up treatment at 6 months, then at 6 months and then once every year. But if the patient is not satisfied with the results at the 1 month mark, more dermal filler is required to achieve the desired result. So further dermal filler should be injected every 1-3 months until the desired appearance has been reached. From that, a follow up treatment at 6 months, then once a year as well.

Non surgical chin augmentation with dermal fillers is suitable for anyone who has a small or uneven chin relative to the rest of their face. The procedure aims to improve your jawline and chin profile. All that is required is for you to have some bone structure to work on.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS/SIDE EFFECTS OF DERMAL FILLER IN THE CHIN?
