Keep in mind that it should never be injected into a vein or muscle.
    HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT WITH SAXENDA?
    There is no fixed timeline for treatments with Saxenda. The individual requirements of your weight loss & wellness program will depend on your health assessment and personal goals. Your doctor will continuously monitor your progress and check if the medication is still the best option for you and is having the desired effect. However you should only continue over a period of 12 weeks if you demonstrate weight loss of 5% when used in conjunction with a calorie-controlled diet and regular exercise.

    ARE SAXENDA® INJECTIONS FDA APPROVED?
    Yes! Rest assured that axenda (liraglutide) has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for chronic weight control in patients aged 12 and up who are obese, as defined by specified BMI cut-offs for age and sex that correspond to a BMI of 30 kg/m2 or greater for adults, and who weigh more than 60 kg (132 pounds).
