WHAT IS VELASHAPE FOR CELLULITE TREATMENT?

VelaShape is a non- invasive body contouring treatment to improve the look of cellulite and tighten the skin to achieve a better toned, contoured and well-shaped body. It can provide dramatic results, making you look and feel more youthful without any downtime or significant discomfort. Velashape combines four different technologies in a single platform, including infrared heat, bi-polar radiofrequency waves, pulsed vacuum, and deep tissue massage rollers. When combined together, these improve the skin texture and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

WHAT IS CELLULITE?

Cellulite is a type of fat separated by connective tissue that creates a distinct dimpled appearance on the surface of the skin. When these fat cells increase in volume they push away the top end of each compartment in between them. With that, the skin on top of the area takes on a dimpled appearance. Over 80% of females suffer from some level of cellulite after puberty or pregnancy. Despite being common, it can take a toll on the self esteem and body confidence of many women. And when the tight fit in the compartments compresses blood vessels and other tissues, it also becomes a health complication.

ARE THERE SURGICAL OPTIONS TO TREAT CELLULITE?

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A VELASHAPE TREATMENT?

Velashape can bring benefits to all men and women, but the best candidates for the treatment are those with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of less than 30, that have either Stage 1 or Stage 2 Cellulite. To check if you are a good candidate it is always crucial to consult with a specialist. But keep in mind that Stage 1 Cellulite doesn't show dimpling while you are standing or lying down, only if you pinch the skin it reveals that “orange peel” appearance. As Stage 2 Cellulite shows the “orange peel” dimpling spontaneously when you are standing up, but not when you are lying down.
