Your experience begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your skin and goals. During your consultation, our provider will determine the ideal Fraxel settings, discuss your expected results, and review your personalized treatment plan.

During Treatment

A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. The Fraxel handpiece is then guided across the treatment area, creating uniform microthermal zones. Most patients describe the sensation as warm or prickly, but very manageable. A full-face session typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, while smaller areas require less time.

After Treatment

Your skin may look slightly pink or warm, similar to a mild sunburn. Over the next few days, light flaking or bronzing may occur as older skin cells shed and newer ones come to the surface. Makeup can typically be worn the next day, although sunscreen and gentle skincare are essential.

Recovery and Results

Fraxel results build gradually as new collagen forms over several weeks.

Typical recovery timeline:

Days 1–2: Mild redness or swelling
Days 3–5: Natural exfoliation and surface renewal
